Cambridge House: Best Bed and Breakfast in Wisconsin.

After our fabulous dinner theater date we came back to our Log Cabin in Cambridge House Bed and Breakfast place, Cambridge, Wisconsin.

Never before I had an experience of staying in Bed and Breakfast Inn. As and industry, Bed and Breakfast began to blossom in the U.S. during the 1980s, and B&Bs today provide an atmosphere of warmth and coziness, homey feeling away from home. Traditional hotels simply can't match this, and frankly speaking, many are not even trying.

The Cambridge House is owned by Jeff and Linda, who live on the premises. Their guests become their family. Jeff told that though they have their own website, mostly they live from “word of mouth”. Many people who stayed with them once, will come back again and also will recommend other people to visit Jeff and Linda’s Bed and Breakfast.

Their special Appetizer and Wine reception will warm your heart instantly. Jeff's big smile will make you feel at home from the first minute you see him. His special warm cookies are something that you have never tried before. He makes them with special ingredients (his invention, by the way) and he will willingly share his recipe with you. He gave me the print of his cookies recipe out of his computer. I will not share it with you here, sorry. But if you visit Cambridge House B&B, you will get the recipe from Jeff for sure. Plus other recipes from them, that you also can find on their website.

In the morning Jeff made us delicious breakfast. Linda was out of the town, but believe me, Jeff is a great cook too!

We asked Jeff to shows us other rooms and Jeff gave us a tour of the house. There was a special Guest Book in every room and you could read hundreds of testimonials from people who stayed in Cambridge House B&B. No wonder that all testimonials were with lots of exclamation marks!!!!! People LOVE this place!
